Irish pbs in Barcelona half as Kiplagat rewrites world record

Leevale’s Lizzie Lee finished second in 74:06 behind Kenya’s Florence Kiplagat who set a new world record of 65:09 at the Barcelona half marathon yesterday. Kiplagat rewrote the record books for the second time in succession on this course and to put into context it was two 30:50 10ks back-to-back.
