Last Year’s Morton Games started off with a bang as Thomas Barr beat the reigning World Champion Jehue Gordon. Barr announced himself to the World and more importantly to the Irish public with the trademark Thomas Barr finish. The Whole grandstand shook with the applause and the old Stadium briefly buzzed with the Morton Magic of yesteryear. The World Universities Champion runs again tomorrow, get to Santry and for 10 bucks you can see him in the flesh.
