Birmingham Diamond League – Live Stream

The Birmingham diamond league is underway on BBC 2 (BBC 2 HD in Ireland) with the women’s discus starting the day’s proceedings. The main track events will get going shortly after 2pm. If you don’t have access to BBC 2 there is a live stream available below.

Of course Mo Farah as well as a number of other Olympic champions have withdrawn from the event, but it still features the likes of Allyson Felix, Bernard Lagat, Christian Taylor and Greg Rutherford.

From an Irish perspective, the events to watch will be the women’s 3000m steeplechase and the men’s 5000m, featuring Sara Treacy and Kevin Batt respectively. Treacy reassured her fans earlier today that she would not be withdrawing from the event with the tweet below.
