Podcast: Mo Headlines for Farah; Kids Kick ass on Track ‘and’ Field
Mo Farah was the main story of the week and was in the news for all sorts of reasons. For starters he ran a European record for the half marathon in Lisbon with a super swift 59:32 becoming the first Britain to dip under 60 mins. Previous record holder Fabiano Roncero of Spain questioned the legitimacy of the time being a European record seeing as Mo was born in Somalia. The Oregon Project were also in the news for the use of a product NutraMet which we discuss.
We’ve brought back our gripe of the week which looks at all the latest drug stories including Belarus electing a drug cheat as President.
Danish 800m star Andreas Bube has been in Ireland getting treatment off therapist Ciaran McDonagh and we include part of his interview where he tells us about his best friend in athletics and how is Saucony contract came about.
We take a flashback at all last weekend’s action including all the top action at the GloHealth National Juvenile Championships and who was running well on the roads.
Darragh McElhinney was our athlete of the week winning the junior boys race at the SIAB Schools Cross Country International and we give the lowdown on the championships as a whole. Tune in for our latest offering to find out all the latest news.

Hey Guys,
Great stuff with the podcast and site. I’m over in Australia and listen in each week! Normally I am able to download the podcast to my phone (and play it then “offline” from my media player). However the download button doesn’t seem to be available this week for some reason. Do you know what that is?
Thanks again for all the good/entertaining work,
Kevin
Should be available to download now Kevin, thanks for the feedback.
