2. Latest Doping Sanctions

The latest info on athletes who have recieved doping bans by the IAAF. 26 athletes in total have been removed from the sport for periods ranging from 6 months to 8 years. Good riddance to them.

3. Qatar Olympic bid ‘inevitable’

Secretary General and CEO of the Qatar Olympic Committee has said it is only a matter of when they choose to bid rather than wanting to. After failing with bids for the 2016 and 2020 games, a further bid would not be ruled out financially for one of the world’s richest countries.
