Britton strikes back with second in Edinburgh

Fionnuala Britton bounced back from her disappointment at the European Cross Country Championships last month when finishing second at the Great Edinburgh Cross Country yesterday. The 30-year-old from Kilcoole finished seven seconds behind British winner Emilia Gorecka over the 6km course. Afterwards, she spoke to JumpingTheGun. Ireland’s other competitors were Sara Treacy in 16th and Michelle Finn in 22nd.
