Places Filling Fast For Star’s World Class Workshop

11880238_1005687399475697_382883283_nPlaces are filling up fast with less than a week to go until a swarm of world class athletes, therapists and coaches get together for seminars and workshops on how to improve speed, strength, agility and reduce the risk of injuries for athletes of all levels and all sports. Taking place in the Dolmen Hotel, Carlow on Sunday 13th.

11793352_1005694049475032_1416151894_nAnthony ‘Star’ Geoghegan, therapist to many world and Olympic medalists and also the inventor of the ‘RIP Tool’ and the ‘RIP Speed Board’ will be talking on how to reduce injuries with his ‘RIP Tool’ and improve performance with his ‘RIP Speed Board’ used by the fastest man ever Usain Bolt before the defence of his world title two weeks ago.

Among the world class athletes attending the workshop will be LaShawn Merritt, David Oliver, Novlene Williams-Mills, Brenda Martinez, Blanka Vlasic, Tori Bowie and Curtis Mitchell.

It’s a day not to be missed by any sports enthusiast. Make sure you book your seat ASAP as places are limited and are filling quickly.

Gerard O'Donnell

Gerard O'Donnell is an athlete, a coach, and a business management graduate. A former youth international, he represented Ireland in sprint hurdles, 400m hurdles, high jump and relays. He is current senior 60m & former 110m hurdles champion and ranks 3rd & 5th on the Irish all-time list for the events. Years of battling and finally overcoming injuries have led to his keen interest in strength and conditioning for athletes, as well as his current course of study: Neuromuscular Physical Therapy. He is occasionally referred to as GOD, not due to his initials, but because of his heavenly beard, which he has sported since the age of 5.
