Barr set for Zurich Diamond League

Diamond League for Barr

Thomas Barr is set to compete in the 400m Hurdles at the Zurich Diamond League on Thursday September 3rd.

The Ferrybank athlete just missed out on a place in the final of the IAAF World Championships finishing fourth in his semi-final in a time of 48.71 seconds. Barr finished 11th overall and later ran as part of the men’s 4x400m relay team that set a new national record of 3:01.26 finishing 13th overall.

Barr has had an excellent season to date running a national record of 48.65 and winning the World University Games title. Zurich is one of the premier meets on the circuit and Barr will compete at 20:36 Irish time.  There will be coverage on Eurosport.
